(text copied from flyer: couldn't get the cool artwork to come through on the message board)
The SIUC Rowing Club presents:
The Saluki 5K Indoor Rowing Challenge
Saturday, December 8, 2007. 10:00 a.m. till Noon.
The idea: Row 5000 meters as fast as you can.
The way it works: Participants will have 15 minutes to warm up on their rowing machine of choice. Then they will set the monitor to 5K and commence the test.
Where: The Rowing Machines at the SIU Student Recreation Center (upstairs, next to the suspended track).
Why: Why not?
This event is free and open to the public. All participants assume their own liability and will hold neither The SIUC Rowing Club nor Southern Illinois University responsible for any injury that may occur during the test.
Please email Mike Magnuson (magnusmj@siu.edu) for more information and to reserve a time slot. You may feel free to reserve a time slot on the day of the event.

Should we bring our own bucket or will the Club supply those?

The Club will, in fact, supply a bucket. What size do you suggest?

I suppose Breakfast Sized will be sufficient.

Ah, Juliane. You are quite the typical Dane. I should say that British never require a bucket for an indoor 5K!
Bless you! And God Save the Queen!
