Thank you, Stephanie! Thank you, Dawn! Thank you, Alan! Probably the best workout we've had on the water so far. Particularly for having to rely on the bow seat for steering, too! Well done, Admiral!
For anyone else checking in, Sunday afternoon, October 19, we'll take the Kisker out one last time before taking him indoors for some maintenance work over the winter. We'll gather at 2 p.m. for a row and once everyone's had a row, we'll de-rig him and move him over to the hatchery...
[Dawn & Stephanie: I found my camera; it was in the big box of t-shirts and C2 stuff I took to non-attended "organizational" meeting. Whew!]

I think Hartwig enjoyed himself very much, eh? So glad to have rowed with all of you, especially HK .

Thank you Dawn, Steph and Alan, again doubling as cox from the #1 seat. It was a glorious day today for a last row before we put the Kisker up on indoor blocks :-(. Within the next month — after Alan & I return from the “Head of the Hooch” www.headofthehooch.org/ — we'll schedule an event at the Fishery to sand-and-varnish the Kisker. Idea: Why can't the fish find someplace else for the winter so that we can set the Kisker in the tank for an indoor winter-training facility?

It's not like fish can't swim. I need the water more than they do. I'm a rowing shell, for Christ's sake!
Argh, on the other hand, that Admiral should perhaps have the last word on this matter. It is quite peaceful to be rid of that incessant barking! If only my dearest strawberry blonde coxswain were here...
