So yesterday afternoon I take my sister and her husband out to Blue Sky (let us not comment on the swill for sale there), and on the way back, we're driving across the Little Grassy Spillway, and I'm yammering about how my crazy buddy Alan is ALWAYS out there sculling in the high winds; nothing can stop him...Sure enough, out there in the whitecaps: the Admiral himself, slogging ever forward in his guide boat. Nice to know my B.S. sometimes turns out to be true.

Nice graphic, Thom! I like that it shows a direct view of the starboards' strokes.
No Admiral sightings on my end either, but perhaps that is because I spend most of my time erging:).

Dawn, I'm happy to be of help in establishing your credibility with your sister. The wind was out of the west which is rather strange direction on Little Grassy.
More importantly, what is southern Illinois' fascination with bad wine? It is rather embarrassing to take someone to Blue Sky, tell them how beautiful it is (quite true) and then warn them not to drink the wine. The chambercein (I don't even care if I misspell it) will break you of drinking wine and should be used as the first step of any recovery process. The whites are just whites and should only be used to get drunk.
I hope these storms blow over for tomorrow's outing.
