After avoiding doing Pete's 5X1500 workout yesterday, I decided to do it today. DJ was already working out when I got there and was doing two 2500 m pieces (something like 3' rest between pieces). He said that on the first he was at 7:01 at 2000 m and 7:10 at 2000 m for the second. Quite frankly it doesn't matter how fast he was for the last 500 m of those pieces--he's damn fast. I bet he has a 6:50 time in him.
Anyhow that was the inspiration I needed to complete the 1500 quintet. I did them in 1:52 to 1:55. The third one was hardest mentally and physically.
